RIP Lilly

So my cat died today…

She was 18 years old, so it was no surprise really. When I was back home less than a month ago she was frailer than ever so I kinda expected it. Sucks, but 18 years is a pretty impressive run for a cat… She lived in 2 states and about 2 weeks ago she managed to catch a rabbit, so she was pretty prolific in her hunting.

Didn’t mean to depress you! I’m not sad, this stuff has to happen or else the world would be super overpopulated. But she will be missed.

Such a busy week!

Okay so, in case you didn’t see the house in the Photos tab… Click on it now.

Okay, now you’re back. That house, as you could see in my earlier entry, was the one I put an offer on.

Lo and behold the bank ended up accepting it after a couple of rounds of negotiation. So I’ll be moving into a house on July 16th. Ended up getting a great deal on the house due to the lovely foreclosure laws. Sucks to be someone who was irresponsible (most likely) with their finances, but leads to very exciting times in the life of CF.

But wait, there’s more. So being in pricing for the airlines, when another airline screws up, I hear about it basically first. Well, this week, Delta made the mistake of $210 round trip from Phoenix to Madrid. I bought two tickets over Labor Day weekend for Lauren and myself.

So in a week, I bought a house and a European vacation. Can’t think of one week in my life where I’ve done such big events back to back!

Just for you, Amber…

Now you can follow me on the Elle-Jay and it links to my page to post comments.

Are you happy now, Ambrizzle?

Put in the offer on the house, and decided that I want the seller to pay 6% for closing fees + repairs instead of just 3% for closing fees. If they accept my first offer, they’re dumb.

Hopefully we’ll hear tomorrow!

Also, let me introduce you to my favorite new website on the internets: http://www.omegle.com

It connects you with a random person to chat. It’s freaking hilarious. Enjoy!

Putting an offer on a house this week

Pictures are HERE.

That’s the excitement going on in my life.

Also, I really want to see Blink 182 tour but tickets are $55 and that’s a fucking ripoff.

There’s also a TBS show on Tuesday but I don’t know anyone who wants to go :(

Furthermore, TBS and Blink182 are playing a show with Weezer in San Francisco on a Saturday… so I want to see that too.

Summer concert season is apparently here…  I haven’t even mentioned Warped….

An Update for youuuuuu

So sorry for neglecting to update, I’ve been really busy trying to keep All My Sports Teams Suck full of content, and that doesn’t leave much for you folks, most of whom know me in real life.

Anyway, the google keeps fairly detailed analytics on this page, and my website as a whole… Yes, I’m tracking you.  Anyway, most of the visits are from people in locations I’d expect, AZ, Indiana, Illinois, and Massachusetts.  However, there are a few that I can’t figure out.  Two visits from Canton, OH, one from Kent, OH, apparently slightly north of Canton.  Also, a visitor from Washtenaw County in Michigan, which wikipedia tells me is Ann Arbor, so I’m guessing someone at U of M?   Anyway, if you’re one of these people from these random places, go ahead and leave a comment or email me, because the curiousity is really killing me.

In more relevant news, the house search continues.  Ahwatukee and West Chandler officially have nothing, so on Saturday the search is extended to Gilbert.  I’m not particularly thrilled at the prospect of living in Gilbert, particularly because I’m afraid the commute will be miserable, but things are different now than in 2003, or at least I hope so.  The 60 has been widened, there’s the 202 San Tan now… so I hope it’s relatively easy to get to Tempe from the right part of Gilbert… but who knows.  Bottom line is if there’s a house worth living in, that would make me enjoy my time at home, the commute doesn’t matter (that much).

So that’s about it.

Did anyone at all migrate over from the elle-jay??
